CARL SEGURA, PBC Assistant Commissioner for External Operations and Social Media

I am a former soccer student-athlete from Eastern Connecticut State University (many moons ago). After college, I went to college again (grad school) and eventually realized I wanted to work in intercollegiate athletics. I was lucky and got an internship at the NCAA National Office before landing here at the Peach Belt Conference. One of my biggest priorities is keeping the PBC on the cutting edge. As a result I am always bugging our Commissioner with new and great (and some not so great) ideas. What you have here is one of them (the great ones that is), the Peach Blog. The plan is for this to be a forum for the student-athlete voice and a showcase for some of the talented writers we have in the PBC. I will also contribute from time to time.
